Who Is Your Website Really For?

Everybody wants to have an awesome website.

The question is, according to who? You? Or your ideal prospect?

Of course, the answer is obvious. If you are in business to make money, you want a website that appeals to your ideal prospect.

Unfortunately, that person is not on the design team!

It’s just you and your designer. And ultimately it’s you that is going to say when it’s finished!

So how do we make sure we create the right design? The one that will appeal to your ideal prospect?

Step one would be to determine who that person is!

Are they male or female? Young or old? Rich or poor?

What problem do they have that you can solve?

What have they tried before to solve it?

What would happen if they don’t get their problem solved? How would that make them feel?

There are all kinds of questions you can ask. Many times the answers breed new questions giving even greater insight.

Getting a detailed picture of that perfect prospect is critical. With that, we can tailor the images and words on your website to speak right to them.

People have a need to be understood. When they find that person that “gets” them, they’ve found someone they’ll want to business with. That person should be you.
